Marketing Communications Manager – 5,000 Clients and Growing!
As the successful Marcom Manager candidate, you will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for developing and implementing a broad range of corporate marketing and lead generation activities. As part of a small sales and marketing team, you will be an important contributor in creating and executing marketing programs that establish Inmagic as a thought and market leader in the special library and broader content management and publishing market, build awareness and demand to support our current business and help us move into new social media markets.
As Inmagic grows and you demonstrate your key contributions to this growth, we envision adding staff which will report directly to you. Initially our part-time and contractor resources will be your direct reports. You will have a “ground floor” opportunity to build an organization.
Responsibilities:

Develop and manage online and offline customer acquisition campaigns, including:
- Viral marketing, e-marketing and direct mail lead generation campaigns
- Product webinars
- Coordination of trade shows, seminars and events

Write and maintain sales collateral and tools, web site copy and bi-monthly e-newsletter. Work closely with internal staff and designers in the production of all marketing materials and sales tools.

Track, review and analyze results of marketing programs.

Support public relations activities including writing of press releases and focused press outreach and communications.

Requirements:

BS/BA degree, MBA a plus.

5-8 years business-to-business marketing communications experience with an emphasis on marketing programs and communications in end-user application software or information services.

Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with sales teams and outside influencers and press.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Strong organization, program management, and problem solving skills.
-
Experience with SFA/CRM applications such as salesforce.com or Netsuite and MS Office tools.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once with minimal day to day management.

Interest in and experience with new age marketing mediums (e.g. blogs, social marketing) and a desire to propose and initiate new and creative ways for the company to market itself.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
