Inmagic's new release of DB/TextWorks and WebPublisher PRO is an important step for customers preparing to migrate to the Microsoft® Vista operating system, and will include numerous new features for improved ease of use and overall user experience. Version 11 of DB/TextWorks began shipping on March 31, and WebPublisher PRO v11 was released to current customers May 28, timed to ensure compatibility with Windows 2008 Server.

Tips & Tricks:
Installations of DB/TextWorks v11 should be trouble-free. If you happen to get Error 1926, try re-downloading to make sure you have the latest copy of Version 11 downloaded on or after April 11th, 2008. Then proceed as usual. To download the updated DB/TextWorks v11 zip file from the Inmagic download page, you need your serial number and the password from the customer email announcement. Instructions for downloading are also included in that email.

Spring student event hosted by Inmagic partner Andornot a success
UBC SLAIS Inmagic DB/TextWorks workshop, March 1st, 2008 (Vancouver) - Saturday morning was an unlikely school day for UBC SLAIS students. Nonetheless over 25 library and archival students got out of bed and made their way to campus to attend Andornot's annual Inmagic DB/TextWorks workshop. Led by Andornot team members Rex Turgano and Bridget Martin, the 5-hour jam-packed event consisted of an overview Inmagic DB/TextWorks, hands-on training, and an open forum discussion on how to use the software to solve various information management type problems and scenarios.
