Happy New Year From All of Us at Inmagic!

Maximizing Your Investment in Inmagic Software

One of the things that makes many Inmagic customers unique is the length of time they - or their organizations - have used Inmagic software.   Some of you [admit it!] even date back to the DOS days [as do some of us!].   Over the years, you've found that Inmagic has upgraded and enhanced the software to offer you more and more capabilities, from new Windows features, to more Web capabilities, to the new XML and Web services support.   As the product set becomes more sophisticated and complex, more and more of our customers are asking Inmagic and our channel Partners how they can truly maximize the investment they have made over the years.

For most of you, the answer lies in customization of Inmagic's software to allow it to better meet your individual and unique requirements.   This may mean customization of Web screens and displays so that they match the look and feel of your local intranet site or the addition of features to your online library catalog, such as a reference request system.   Or, you may wish to discuss how we can integrate your Inmagic databases more effectively with your corporate portal.    As you'll see throughout 2004, we at Inmagic are increasingly focusing our resources on offering our customers a broad and robust set of consulting and customization services.   Many of our Inmagic Partners have been doing this for years and have built their businesses on customizing standard Inmagic product to meet the needs of their clientele.

To learn how you can further maximize your investment in Inmagic, please contact your Account Manager at 1.800.229.8398 or 781.938.4444 ext. 255, contact Inmagic online, or contact your local Inmagic reseller.

New 2004 Maintenance and Support Contracts

When you renew your Inmagic maintenance in 2004, North American customers will receive both product upgrades and technical support. You'll get new features throughout the year and be eligible for a set number of support incidences based on the product you own. View details.

If you are a US or Canadian customer and your maintenance contract expired on December 31, 2003, you can avoid paying the higher non-renewal maintenance rate if you renew by January 31, 2004. For details, contact Matti Score, Maintenance Administrator, at 1.800.229.8398 or 781.938.4444 ext. 226, e-mail her at mscore@inmagic.com, or contact your local Inmagic reseller.

New Web-based Training Now Available

Beginning on February 4th, Inmagic will launch a series of new Web-based training opportunities.   Because it allows customers to participate directly from their desktop computers, Web-based training has many advantages, including being significantly less expensive than individualized or onsite training.   We are kicking off this new series with a training session on Inmagic's new check box form Web application.

The Inmagic check box form Web application allows you to quickly make your textbase searchable over the Web. The online training will take you through all the steps required to install, configure, and use the check box Web form.
