WebPublisher PRO provides all of the advantages of Web interactivity at an affordable price, by making it possible to deploy, publish and maintain DB/Text or Content Server textbases on the Web. Unlike many Web publishing tools, which require that users have advanced degrees in HTML and XML programming, WebPublisher PRO utilizes the the WYSIWYG forms created in TextWorks. As a result, even non-technical users can easily publish their Inmagic textbases interactively on the Web.

WebPublisher PRO's high-speed fielded search engine makes finding information fast, easy, and precise. WebPublisher PRO performs keyword searches through a million records in under a second! You can even narrow or broaden your searches by querying multiple fields to customize your results. And you don’t have to wade through a sea of hyperlinks or hundreds of hits to find exactly the information that you need. WebPublisher PRO enables you to search and retrieve information based upon the content of documents as well as with conventionally-structured fields.

Update and Maintain Documents Effortlessly

Updating and maintaining thousands of static HTML documents is tedious work. The combination of TextWorks and WebPublisher PRO provides you with a textbase-driven environment for publishing to the web or your intranet. As a result, you can easily modify groups of documents through operations such as batch import or batch modify. In addition, by using permissions you can allow designated users to maintain specific documents.

WebPublisher PRO System Requirements

Server Requirements:

• Intel Pentium processor, 500 MHz or higher
• One of the following operating systems:
  Windows 2003 Server with Service Pack 1
  Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4
  Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4
  Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
• Hard disk: 10MB Disk Space (to install), 100 MB+ available (working storage)
• Memory: 512 MB RAM or greater
• Web server: Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) version 5.0 or later
• Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 is required for the Inmagic Choices Browser.
• Web browser: Internet Explorer v6.0 or later
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later installed on the server (to support XML functionality).
• TCP/IP installed and running
• An IP address and/or a domain name. If the server is connected to the Internet, the IP address needs to be registered.
• ISAPI or CGI (ISAPI recommended for better performance)
